This dynamic, though well heard of and not as well believed in, is simply one dynamic of many, it comes with its own qualities that slightly alter and influence what might commonly come along during the process.
This is the top 3 things that I have found in my own process so far (10 years in). I am in NO means ‘done’ with these challenges, though I share what I have found so far.

Hi, my spirituality awakened at the very beginning of 2020. At that time I became deeply attracted to a celeb(male). From the interviews i watched we had some similarities not all. But the attraction was intense and I had few vivid and lucid dreams feeling the energy. I panicked, pushed it away and never ventured anything that represents him and after a while I was not able to feel that intensity. Recently i had felt this hot energy all of a sudden and the only thought was his face. Before the awakening i have come across him on screen many times but I never actually felt anything. Can you please explain this?

It is very hard with ANY soul connection to understand what is going on even in the first few years, it can take many years. My first catalyst took 7 years before I realised this is what he was.
Explanations do not go hand in hand in this situation I am afraid, it just isnt how the process works. Why? This is about exploration, discovering new realities, levels of yourself and your experience. The process is to go in head first and experience without pre-conceived notions and judgements that will cloud or skew our experience. This way we get to experience it purely without taint. This includes such concepts as twin flames/ray etc which only settle what is going on in peoples minds from the outset thus skewing their experience. They go from the concept, not the experience, therefore starting out with a pre-conceived concept.. they do not grow and stagnate themselves before they even start.
Unfortunately this also means we are pretty much lost and have no clue what is going on, but this is OK. Its meant to be this way, it shows things are happening as they are meant to, you have to go though the process and allow it without trying to explain, or answer any questions we may have arising about what this is or what is happening. To put it simply.. we arnt capable of answering most of our questions until a lot later in the process. We need to grow to be able to understand and actually see for ourselves what is going on.
So I am afraid I can not explain it. All I can say is that it could be a simple catalyst that is nudging you into new areas and depth of experience ie the lucid dreams, sensing another. It could be more, but for now that is an unknown and you are better off dealing with what is happening in the now.
I would suggest to accept there is something you are being shown and challenged (in a good way) to meet and walk into to experience. Who ever this male is, think of him as a teacher (catalyst) that is showing you the door but you have to be willing to walk into it. You will only know what is going on by moving forward.
Take the adventure for what it is, not for what it might be.
