The first stages of any spiritual awakening is to first be aware of and heal your human self. This is your foundation and grounding point of your entire current ‘self’ experience and it needs to be solid, healed and stable. Otherwise, trying to venture ‘beyond’ it will be a hellish mental experience (if you manage to get beyond it at all.)
