Title confusing? Yes, if you look online, in books about what you should/not do in the Journey, it can get confusing, even seemingly conflicting. At worse, it can be damaging.
An article telling you do one thing, then another telling you NOT to do it. Why is it so conflicting?
Read more: What ‘should’ you (/not) do on a Twin Flame Journey? The reason is because of the lack of details of the situations they are in reference to. Why the lack of details? Because the authors do not have enough experience and knowledge of the their Journey to accurately explain or understanding why this change occurs. That is of course, if they are even aware that changes occur at all!
Experiences may vary, but the core of the Journey does not.
You might find this interesting to read if you want to know more about this.
What you ‘should do’ changes as the journey goes on. As you change and what you need to apply yourself to changes.
I mean, this is progress right? It isn’t really progress if you keep doing the same thing. That also depends if what you are doing is even right to start with!
So why does it change?
Once you hit certain points of growth, you no longer have to do things in or be in a certain way that enabled that growth. Those situations and states were only there to allow growth of other areas needed first. They are all designed to put you in the best situation and state to attend to what needs your attention.
They are not the state you NEED to be in, they are the situation to allow and help you to reach the state you need to be in.
My point being, there is no ‘do this and be rigid with it’. All of these situations comes and goes as needed, however each can last for a long time and are not always for the short term. So you need to be flexible.
The idea of what is ‘a requirement’ VS what you ‘shouldn’t do’ VS what is ‘needed for growth’.
Read this here to expand this aspect of the topic or open to read it later. It explains using the example how we are told we should completely detach from our Twin and this is a goal, a situation and state we need to reach. Yet in reality, it is simply a situation to help us grow where we need to. After this growth is achieved, we do not need to keep our Twin at bay. In fact, the idea of complete detachment is against the point of the Journey – but you can read that in the article.
In fact, if you read the above article now, then come back, the rest of this article is a good follow on.
The Core Journey
Overall the fact is that its a ‘shared’ journey. It isn’t ‘just about you’. You are technically only ‘half’ of the Journey.
Focusing on yourself is just the beginning steps. For this, we have the ‘separation’ that is the setting to help us achieve this. Yet you wont be able to complete the whole journey if you only focus on yourself and keep the Twin at bay for the reminder of it. If you keep that state towards the Other.
The ‘trend’ nowadays, is to completely ‘feel nothing’ and aim to not want/desire or allow the person into yourself and life ever again. This.. is just running away (hello extreme runner mode), blocking and totally NOT the point of a ‘SHARED journey’!
When you are in the later ‘stages’, about 3/4 of the way up the symbolic ladder mentioned in the above article, Union, the Other and love is the manifestation of you, as happiness. You love yourself by NOT keeping yourself from being able to have that happiness and yourself.
You realise love, union, happiness isnt just a 3d thing. It is your existence and state beyond that 3D. So by allowing yourself union, love and the Twin, you are allowing yourself.. yourself.
